In this stage, you will work on an additional round. The manager will decide which transcription task you will work on. There are two tasks the manager can choose from: Task 1 and Task 2. Task 2 is more difficult than Task 1, but offers a higher bonus payment for fully correct transcription.

• Task 1: In each assignment, the task is to transcribe blurred Greek letters with a string length of 5 letters.

Transcription Assignment - Task 1 (Example)

For each assignment, you will receive 1 ECU for each letter he transcribed correctly. You will also receive a bonus of 10 ECUs if all five letters are transcribed “fully correctly”. The manager’s payoff will be the same as your payoff.

• Task 2: In each assignment, the task is to transcribe blurred Greek letters with a string length of 8 letters.

Transcription Assignment - Task 2 (Example)

For each assignment, you will receive 1 ECU for each letter he transcribed correctly. You will also receive a bonus of 20 ECUs if all eight letters are transcribed “fully correctly”. The manager’s payoff will be the same as your payoff.

This additional round will last 120 seconds. At the end of this round, the manager will receive your performance report for stage 4. After the manager finish reading the report, you will receive your performance report for stage 3 and stage 4.
